Central Piedmont offers a variety of dining options across all six campuses, featuring full-service coffee bars, grab and go lunch stations, sandwich shops, breakfast/lunch locations, and more.

Beach & Borough Sandwich Shop

West coast subs and the Manhattan sandwich shop society flavors collide at Beach & Borough Sandwich Shop. Select one of our signature sandwiches or build your own with your choice of artisanal breads, all-natural cheeses, colorful veggies, clean label meats and fresh in-house made spreads, pickles and chips.

Catalyst Coffee Bar

Our curated coffee bar experience will include Blk & Bold coffee, specialty beverages, espresso, nitro cold brew, hot tea and specialty blended beverages and smoothies. In addition, you’ll find locally sourced pastries and freshly prepared grab and go sandwiches, salads, desserts, yogurt cups and more.

Order Ahead with Connect & Pay App

Look for the Connect & Pay icon in your app store

Ordering food at Central or Levine Campuses? Pay with your phone using our new “Connect & Pay” app that also lets you skip the line and order ahead at selected Central Piedmont dining locations. All Catalyst coffee bar and Beach & Borough sandwich shop locations are cashless, so payments for food, grab and go items, and beverages can be made only through credit/debit cards and the app. 

The Connect & Pay app allows you to order and customize your favorite campus specialty beverages and food selections, pay, and then pick up at a time that is convenient for you. You can also see current promotions, rewards, and offers.

Order ahead is available at the Levine Campus Catalyst coffee bar and the Beach & Borough sandwich shop, and at Central Campus Beach & Borough sandwich shop. (Coming soon to Catalyst coffee bar at Central Campus in the Parr Center).

Vouchers for Campus Dining

The Connect & Pay app can also load money to your account from a debit or credit card for future use at our Canteen on-campus dining locations. If you only have access to cash, vouchers for our campus dining locations are available for purchase at the Cashiering Business Office on the Cato, Central, Harris and Levine Campuses.

Vouchers may be purchased in $5 and $10 increments. Vouchers can be combined or added with Connect & Pay or card payments to complete a transaction. The remaining balance of the voucher will be printed on your receipt. At this time, vouchers can’t be added to the Connect & Pay app.

Please note:

  • Individual vouchers will expire seven years from purchase.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be replaced for any reason, even if lost or stolen, or if the dining facility is closed.

  • Vending Machine Issues and Refunds

    Help us keep our vending machines in proper working order. If you have experienced a recent vending machine malfunction, please let us know by emailing canteencsrv@compass-usa.com, providing the campus, building, floor/location, and type of machine (e.g., snack, drink, etc.). To request a refund for money lost due to a malfunctioning vending machine, please go to any Central Piedmont Cashier's office.
